Helen is presently a fourth year Fine Arts student at the University of Manitoba. She is majoring in Painting and Printmaking. She incorporates both practices into her clay work.
Colour is flowed or painted onto her functional pieces. Printmaking relates to sculpture, expressed in terms of its form and monochromatic shades of dark and light.
Figurative female sculptures on finished wood bases and funky and functional clay pottery in jewel tones. All displayed in a character home overlooking Fisher Park.
